Riding for Ryan - Bicycle Flag Distribution
FREE Bicycle Safety FlagsRiding for Ryan was founded in memory of 7-year-old Ryan, who tragically lost his life in a bicycle accident in 2019. In response to this heartbreaking loss, Ryan’s parents launched the organization to raise awareness about bicycle safety and increase visibility for young riders. The bright orange Riding for Ryan flags attach to the rear axle of a child’s bicycle and are designed to be tall enough to catch the attention of drivers, helping to prevent future tragedies. These safety flags are free of charge and available for pickup in the lobby of our Fire Station, located at 3342 Blue Star Highway, Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. To learn more about Riding for Ryan or to support their mission with a donation, please visit www.ridingforryan.org. |
