What Is a HEARTSafe Community?Becoming a HEARTSafe Community means establishing proactive steps to protect your residents from sudden cardiac arrest. Our community-based quality improvement model focuses on the importance of leadership, collaboration, strategy and tactics in improving cardiac arrest survival in the community through the systematic implementation of 13 specific recommendations or process measures that are based on current science and innovative best practices.

Address SignsAddress signs are provided and installed free of charge to dwellings and taxpayers within the Saugatuck Township Fire District Coverage Area

Alarm InstallationRequest a Free Smoke and Carbon Monoxide alarm. The Fire District will install them for no charge in owner-occupied one-and-two family dwellings.

Burn PermitsBurn permits are only issued when there is a 10 mph or less wind speed and low fire risk threat assessment.
